MY FIX FACTOR
61Laughing at us... but who's going to be the last to laugh?
While the ratings reach the highest level for the season, the show reaches a
new low.
The rollecoaster that is the programme (rollecoaster that this weekend has left
the viewers sick at the end)has only one person to thank.
"Simon killed the tv show", would sing The Buggles if they could have
mentored this week.
Last Sunday was the turn of Rachel, one of the most talented singer of this
year, who, alongside with Dannii, suffered the deadlock treatment, only to be
proven that Lloyd has the Sex Factor(calls to Talk Talk came from young girls,
teenagers, mums, old women, old men, old weird men actually).
This weekend, at the same time, contraddicting what he just promised he would
have done, His nastiness played the deadlock card again.
It is like having Sinitta appearing more than once per serie on our screen:
WRONG!!!
"I am gonna ask the opinion of the public" said Simon, with the same
generosity that a dictator shows towards his victims defore a death sentence.
If the creator of this program, also a judge, lets not forget, has to ask the
public what to do, why do not we replace him next week with a member of the
public like a housewife, a GP, a school teacher that surely knows when she is
in presence of a talent. Why doesn't he just live the country now, since people
will now vote for J&E even more....
(My Factor has even thought to create a group, on Facebook, who will ask people
not to vote for any of Simon's acts so that when two of his acts will find
themselves in the bottom two, he will have to go to deadlock instead of showing
favouritisms of all sorts to one instead of another)
Complaints have fladded the ITV offices and newspapers like the Sun,
trasforming Movie Week into Saga Week.
A programme that had been sailing well for few weeks, apart the shakes given by
the first two international guests, and that now has lost its sense of
direction.
Something that doesnt bother Simon minimaly because he will have the Black Eye
Peas "to meet him half way", but they will be the only ones waiting
for him.
We will be looking forward to seeing Alesha Dixton on Strictly going to
deadlock (a function that now will be used by all Talent competitions to cut
costs on unusefull judges).
But in her case, considering her background, we are pleased for the
contestants.
